Hi everyone. I just need a little feedback and if the comments can answer the question, that would be good. My question is: Have you ever felt like your parents are overprotective?

Here's the question in quiz form to simplify things.
1. What is your cultural background?

Oh boy! A quiz!!

1. What is your cultural background?
'Middle Class' white upstanding family.

2. Do/Did you have a bedtime?
Did. Theoretically I do now though its not enforced much before midnight.

3. Were you ever limited in how you dress?
Never. I climbed trees naked for Christ's sake.

4. Limited in your choice of friends?
Nah, I was pretty responsible with who I made friends with myself.

5. Cell phone use?
Phone, wallet, iPod and emergency £5 note are ALWAYS on hand.

6. Time on computer?
Unlimited.

7. Diet?
Self-managed, near perfect.

8. How you handle your schoolwork?
Roughly

Here's the question in quiz form to simplify things.
1. What is your cultural background?
White, American, My grandfather immigrated from Poland and he married my grandmother who's parents immigrated from Poland a few years earlier. My mother's side has a long history reaching back before the Revolutionary War and back to Charlemagne if you have enough time on your hands. However, my other great grandmother immigrated from Germany.

2. Do/Did you have a bedtime? I wish. Somewhere between 12 and 2. If I'm lucky and fall asleep then.

3. Were you ever limited in how you dress? Technically yes, but piercings scare me in the sense of rejection rate and damage to your teeth.

4. Limited in your choice of friends? No.

5. Cell phone use? I pay for it, so no.

6. Time on computer? When I was little.

7. Diet? Kind of. 1 pop a day till I started buying it.

8. How you handle your schoolwork? I do it when I do it. I keep my grades up and I get to choose my own courses. I also am allowed to forge my mom's signature on the stupid forms, especially the one about what classes I take. I also choose my own college courses to supplement my high school classes. I will also pick my own college next year.

On second thought, I would also like to add that I have a curfew of 3 AM now that I am 18 and because I would come home at 5 AM during the summer. Apparently my mom doesn't like me going to bed when she's just getting up for work. I've never had a curfew like this before.

used to go at 8 ... then id stay up quite late... not now... depends how tired/bored im feeling

what? em... not really... if i understand the question

not at all... my friends are extremely varied among social cliques and im extremely happy with them

yes... well... sometimes... not really because if i ask for money for something i can buy credit ... so...

not at all.

7. Diet?
not at all

PAIN IN MY SIDE
my mother doesnt really pry into these aspects of my life... shes there if i want to talk and makes that well known and will ask me how they are ... but while trying to motivate me she tries to take off the pressure at exam time and doesnt guilt me into studying rather says youll get out of them what you put into them and offers to help any way she can by means of tutors or her help

No, I feel they're at just the right level of protectiveness without being a pain in the ass.

My ancestors/family originate from Spain, Germany, and Mexico. I also have some Aztec blood in me.
2. Do/Did you have a bedtime?
No, as long as I go to bed before midnight on school days.
3. Were you ever limited in how you dress?
No, my parents don't put any restrictions on how I dress. I'm not one to dress like a whore, so they never complain.
4. Limited in your choice of friends?
No, lol. In fact, I barely have any friends (at the moment I only have 1-2). I share the same introverted lifestyle as my family members, so I think they prefer it this way.
5. Cell phone use?
I can't use anything that will cost extra money (this includes texting, IM, internet access, sending photos, and using more minutes than we get each month). Not that I mind...I find the whole texting fad to be very dumb indeed.
6. Time on computer?
No, I don't have a limit. I've gotten away with wasting a whole day sitting here XD
7. Diet?
I can eat whatever I want.
8. How you handle your schoolwork?
Only if my grades start to become bad (as in, straight F's - which I've had before XD) or I skip school/keep arriving really late (which is often, again, lol).

Not overprotective just annoying as hell.
Here's the question in quiz form to simplify things.

2. Do/Did you have a bedtime? Weekdays, around midnight. Weekends until I fall asleep.
3. Were you ever limited in how you dress? No.
4. Limited in your choice of friends? Yes. I don't get along well with many people.
5. Cell phone use? Very little.
6. Time on computer? Loads. Combination of working/studying/chatting on here.
7. Diet? Whatever is edible.
8. How you handle your schoolwork? Very well even though I don't always want to do it.

when i was a young girl he tells me still if he dosent like what i am wearing he tells me

he tells me if he likes them or not if yes then yes if no then no lol

alll the time he dont give me cred i just buy my own vredit so its all cool

when i ask if he says no then its no

he tells me hat i should eat then i take the option if i listen or not i usaally listen
