NOTE: I'm not going to distribute any "juicy" story or whatever so if thats all you're interested in then there is no point continuing to read past this sentence.
I've been in relationships with both guys and girls, and I find the emotional capability of a girl somewhat humourous. According to popular belief, girls are more "emotionally equipt" to deal with being dumped. I find this a complete and utter lie, i myself just ask why they would like to break up and try to see it from their point of view instead of losing my temper over it and lashing out. Unfortunately the girl i went out with did not see it this way, i can understand her being angry because of dumping her but she said some really awful and hurtful things towards me with out provokesion(spelling?) and completely lost her temper. She said i acted like a guy, that i had shut off my emotions and didn't understand how to feel anymore, which has completely confused me. I have never cried infront any of my girlfriends or boyfriends if i was upset in any way or when we have broken up, the guys never had a problem with it and have said i was "amazingly" coolheaded about everything and we have friendships which have lasted through years.
I am still intrigued about this and I'd like to know everyones opinions on this and the reasons for their beliefs. |

It depends on what we're talking about, and what you class as emotionaly mature.
I personaly use the fact that girls think all men are dumn asses to my advantage, and have sofened the blow of dumping somone by acting imaturly.
You would think that makes it worce, but the ego of womankind is huge, wether it is unfashionable to say it or not. By acting that way the superiority complex kicks in after a few days and there off and kicking, even if they don't know what I was doing.
God bless arogant girls picking up their friends! |

Lmao, true true.
Thing is i don't know that much about girls(depsite being one & bisexual) because i've always had only one girl friend all my life, the rest have always been guys.
By emotionally mature i mean, someone who doesn't start screaming their head off at you after being dumped, i can honestly say I have never been like that - and i've had my fair share - when dumped, i have been angry, sure, i mean obviously it will upset me but i'll just take it out on the rink or something.
Why do girls feel the need to be the victim?
I mean, even after just a week a girl is hysterical over it & according to her friends - which are usually feminist - say they're suicidal or something idiotic like that. |

i dont think not caring about the break up = emotional maturity
girls are said to be more emotionally mature because of their willingness to get involved in a relationship... i find this completely ludacris!!!
its not like a relationsip at 13 or even twenty something is going to be a forever kinda thing
guys just accept this, possibly thinking 'well, shor if we do stay together, ok... and if we dont.... grand'
women seem to think 'we have to stay together forever because he told me that he really likes spending time with me and that my perfume is the nicest hes ever smelt'
i think guys, because they GENERALLY have a more realistic view of relationships not to mention accept that kicking, screaming and throwing a tantrum is not the way to get the person they want back |

As a side note, hope you had fun. |
