Despite the fact the Taliban still fight from bases in Pakistan and have retreated to the southern part of the country?
This was something I think the United States had to do. Iraq, no. Here however even Iran didn't like the Taliban. They wouldn't give up Osama so we took em out. Now they have a good Government and a stable life for everyone. The fact that Nato is there too now is a added bonus. Score one for the good guys. |

| If the main reason why we went in there is because they 'had' Osama Bin Laden, then no, I think we should have stayed out. I really don't remember much on it. |

| The Taliban threatens the entire world, including the US, and they will continue to be until they are eliminated. If they're going to topple the twin towers, they better be ready for the US to topple their terrorist government |

| I'm amazed people ever objected to the 'invasion' of afghanistan. The Taliban had to be removed one way or the other. The attrocities committed by them are unspeakable, especially the massacre of the Hazara population, the destruction of the ancient Buddhas of Bamiyan not to mention their treatment of women and flooding of the country with drugs. These people cannot be allowed to return, the US needs to finish what it started and see to the final elimination of the taliban. |

I think we should have spent 300 billion there...
However dont get messed up with the Taliban and Al qadea. Al-Qadea commited the attacks. The Taliban just helped them with everything else. |
