Okay my dad got re married to my best friends mom. I hate her. I've always hated going to my dads but I was forced to. After the wedding my "family case manger" told me I only had to go if I wanted to. I've gone over there twice since September 27. When I go over there its real tense. I talk to my dad maybe once a week. My older brother that lives with him always texts me and wants me to come over, but being 14 I cant drive yet. My brother lost his DL but thats a long story. So he cant come get me. It seems like I'm always depressed but I dont know why. If I get really depressed I go do something to the neon or I play with my dogs ect. But I want a relation ship with my dad. It seems we get farther and farther apart every day.

I know this probably seems like a stupid question, but do you call one another much?

I know how it is to hate step-parents, 'cause, well, I've had enough. But I never let that get in between me and my mom. I'd always just ask my much-hated step-father if he could go out for a while, and leave me and mom to chat, 'cause she was someone I used to be able to talk to heaps.

If I call him I rarely get him, but if I don't answer my phone I get a voice mail getting my head ripped off. His wife wrote a certified letter to my mom saying that her boyfriend didn't have a safe attitude. That was because he took me to his family's farm and taught me to shoot guns. When I told my dad she said that they were probably .22s but I told her 9 mm.s and the big thing was the 50 caliber sniper rifle.

What? Dude. That's fucked. She's just trying to make shit worse for you and your family. Or she has a dislike for your mother, I don't know.

Ask your dad to take something up about it. Explain that it's irritating you. If he doesn't talk to her about it, then, well, there's not much anyone can do, I guess.

i definitely know what its like to be put off by a psyco step mother...

just ignore it... itll be awkward for a while, but keep faking it and after a while itll become genuine as long as you dont force yourself into anything
