personally i think it very narrow minded to assume that any person on this planet, let alone on this forum can tell you if its right or wrong

we can only give you our opinions based on our own morals and hopefully give you a few points to support them

theres bound to be conflict on this no matter what happens and bringing religion into it only does so further (yes i know im the one that mentioned it but its been taken out of context since then)

How can a government call itself civilised if it still condones murder?
The death penalty is murder.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind remember.
One thing we cannot forget in a world of mixed up morals is our basic human rights.
Remember this one?
The Right To Life?
If the government can give permission for murder, then they run the risk of others thinking
"if they can, then why is it wrong for me too?"

Morals may be relative, but human rights aren't. If a government can take away one, then they can take them all away. Imagine living in a place like China, where this debate alone would be grounds for punishment?
China still uses the death penalty.
Capital punishment is a breach of our most basic right to life. if we lose these rights, how can we call ourselves human?
