helo im izzie i just found this site i think it could really help me im 5'9 and wiegh90 pounds. im very underweght and havent had my period for months i know imnot pregent cuz i have never had sex b4 but im still very worried i havent told my mom becouse i dont want to get her worried if its nothing serious.but i still need help what should i do?

Women who are abnormaly skinny somtimes suffer from erratic periods.

I agree with alx! If your not eating properly that could be the cause... Or you could be stressed... Is there anything worrying you? If it is that your too under-weight because of bad eating habits, you should start eating a healthy diet... It could cause serious long-term problems... Xx

If your body fat hits a certain low point, then you'll stop having periods. This generally isn't healthy.

it could be stress
it could be weight stuff
its PROBABLY a combination of the two

BUT

it could be something far more serious!
it could be life threatening
you could be sterile

your worried now and making you worse by saying this is probably the last thing you need but if it makes you go to a doctor before things get worse then its worth it!
go as soon as you can... at least then youll know

I don't like the BMI, but her BMI is 13. I believe it was Spain who made models have a BMI of 19 in order to compete.
