Ok so just got off the phone with my teacher...
Her: Hi sorry to bother you at home but i was wondering if your going to be in school on monday?
me: yeah im going in at 2 O clock today actually
her: oh fantastic listen i was just wondering because you said you were interested in the concern debates this year... are you still interested?
me: yeah i suppose
her: great would you be interested in doing one this monday night?
ok i seriously need help!
She wants me to be 4th speaker meaning although my speach is only 2mins long id have to know enough about it to make 2mins of rebuttal!!
SO I AM BEGGING ANYONE WHO THINKS THEY HAVE INTERESTING FACTS ON THE TOPIC ABOVE TO GIVE INFO OR WEBSITES ID FIND USEFUL!
The motion is: Giving money to development aid is a waste... something like that
and were saying that its not a waste (probably the harder side tbh)
so yeah em ... help |

i only know about reasons for why it's not good.
good news is you ave the weekend to study.  i suggest looking up "development aid debate" on google and doing a some reading on the subject. |

Three days? Thats more than we usualy get.
Well the counter argument is that the aid gets spent of short term food supplies or is used by the leaders of the country for things like the army and not on building up the economy or farming. |

less freakd out atm
was so bad before because my team are ty's and none of them know what there doing... its there 1st debate and none of them have a clue... ugh 4th years |
