are those who commit suicide looking for attention?

or an alternative (which ... id like to be mentioned)

basically anything of interest i can discuss or debate in my public speaking ... thing.

To truly understand you have to discount your feelings on staying alive.

Killing yourself is a funny way to get attention. Death is kinda permanent, but I remember the one Law & Order episode where the woman was going to be convicted so she made a show of her death.

Still, if anyone is threatening to kill themselves they need serious help and shouldn't be dismissed even if they want attention.

Well some people don't want to be in a medicated state of mind.
To fix someone you first need to work out whats normal.

Luke, what if you dont have friends? What if your parents hate and abuse you? What if you honestly don't have anything to look forward to?

I don't LIKE suicide... not one bit. It's a bad choice... but i'm not really against it... it isn't my decision. If someone feels like it's needed and goes through with it... then well... it's their choice.

Suicide is hardly a cry for help. There's nothing about killing yourself that'll make people go, "You know what, I think I will let her stay out later from now on." because the once you're dead, you kinda can't do that anymore.

Now tryying to commit suicide is definately a cry for help.

threatenign to commit suicide is plain dumb and not worth a damn.
