I go to a good public school that I prefer to the private school I went to. However, my school has been rated in the top three schools in the country... The public system where I live is terrible. The curriculum is retarded, the gifted is terrible, the spec ed is terrible. Private schools have their set-backs in the sense that they are a business, so they'll pass anyone with good marks if they have the money. There really isn't much choice for getting a good education here.
And kids who get home schooled get fucked over through not having much social contact with other children and being sheltered from the outside world. |

Not me. Unlike the majority of teenies I know, I actually enjoy being around my family more than friends. There aren't very many people even worth my time at school, and the few close friends of mine I usually contact elsewhere. |
