| i believe in the big bang until science can present a better explanation, or until we have proof of a big bang, but i refuse to believe in creation. i am positive that that cannot, and will not, be proven... |

My opinion: I keep an open mind since anything is possible, I don't shun the possibility of one 'God'/many gods/the big bang theory/Darwinism...
As an athiest I see things from a logical stand-point. We're here on Earth right now, we're alive and we should live life to the fullest instead of worrying about our destinations after life. The ten commandments are a form of control meant for a savage group of ancients seeking guidance in their time of need. We've evolved since then and now the commandments are (or at least should be) just plain common sense. |

| Both the creation and the big bang theory have exactly the same amout of profe, so picking the one that offers eternal life over nothingnes is the logical way to go. |

| But life is so long already, I'd rather drift off into Oblivion, neither is 'logical' it's a matter of preference. |

Life isn't long.
And if your talking about the chrisian version of the creation story then I prefer Oblivion to.
But with the cult of nannal there is no hell so I'm fine with creation storys, my religion judjes us in life. |

Yes, I believe in the Big Bang theory. I think it's more of a proven fact now.

Wait... that doesn't make sense. The Big Bang theory states that everything was formed from nothing by a explosion. It's kind of illogical to think all these systems and perfect measurements were created by chance through a series of coincidences? Atheists usually don't believe in the theory. |

Thats why its a theory not a fact. |

| So, would you still say the same about the Evolution theory, that it's not a fact yet? |

Then why is it called the "Evolution THEORY"? Back up your statements with proof. |

| OK, so the Big Bang theory is just a theory because it is, and the Evolution theory is a fact because it is. Can I see an explanation of that statement? Or is it double standards? |

Evolution theory = fossilized remains
Big bang theory = speculation
Being as you are defending it maby you should back it up with something.
And Pythagoras’s thearum is called a threory because wile it is possible (although unlightly) that some one could prove it worng, it has been called a theory for so long and is considered fact so widely that the tital theory is just so they don't have to change the text books.
Come on lover boy find me some big bang proof. |
