| Maybe it's because i'm a christian and i'm going to wait until marriage, but i believe teenagers aren't mature enough to have sex. I'm not saying that they can't have strong feelings towards someone like adults do, but having sex compicates things and when you are a teenager you want things to be simple because you are only a teenager once and it shouldn't be until you are an adult that you have to deal with complex issues and problems. If a teen messes around and gets pregnant or gets an STD well they are cutting themselves short and now have to deal with problems they aren't ready to handle. |

HAY, guyz! I'm a sub-urban living 16 year old male and I have sex! My life is very stable and I've never cut myself or become deeply depressed before but since I started having sex with this girl I met I've suddenly decided to do all that. Aren't I such a Christian?! haha!!
Anyway, my A+ grades are slipping in school because my thoughts are preoccupied about sex with this girl, not that that's any different from the sexual thoughts I had while growing up and going through puberty of course! har har! But seriously though, I love my life and I sure don't want it to be simple and boring. I mean that's what adults' lives are like aren't they? Oh boy, not good. I guess I'll just live my complicated, outgoing and spontaneous teenage years as I always did before. I mean, who needs routines at this age anyway? After all, you only get to be a teenager once.
But yeah, I'm really worried about this girl though. She's on the contraceptive pill you see and although I always make sure I wear a condom every time we have sex, I'm still not sure if she might be pregnant. I can't help but think that taking all these precautions to stop her getting pregnant are too immature and childish. The same applies to STIs. We both got checked at the doctor's before engaging in sexual activities and although we came out negative, I can't help but feel that oral sex is too immature of us. Will I go to Hell for this?
I think all of this is too much for me to handle, I mean think about it; adults do this too don't they (I mean sex is a very mature thing to do afterall) and if I'm going to have sex as an adult then I'm going to have to take these same precautions. How do adults do it? I'm surprised they don't cut themselves or post blogs about it because it's too much for them too handle. I dunno. Maybe I am too childish to understand? |

| to the guy before the guy before me....i was just voicing my Opinion , you didn't have to go ranting on about how you had sex and what i said is wrong because in all honesty there are some teens who are mature enough, fine their are some exceptions and that is their choice if they think they are ready, but most kids have sex for the wrong reasons and end up contradicting an STD, or pregnant, etc and then wish they waited. So excuse me. |
