I dumped 3 of my old friends and got new ones because
1. they were weird
2. i didn't really like em
3. they ran their mouths 2 much.
well after i dumped tehm i got new friends. Hanging with them made me well popular....
1. I like them
2. They are not wierd
3. They don't run their mouths......about me.
Well after i got "popular" my old friends got mad and started saying stuff to me. I went 2 her house and said "if ya are gonna say stuff say it now" and she backed off.
And now that i hang out with different people...I have gotten into 3 different "word" fights, older guys talking to me, older guys getting mad at me for no reason. But i am still a virgin and drg free.
Does this seem shallow? |

| I dont think shallow is the word, but what you did may have seemed offensive to the previous friends in question. Honestly if you don't like something about someone you cant really be friends with them, because if you don't like them, your friendship is based on false grounds. So Instead of antagonizing the situation, in a nice and somewhat friendly manner, thell them why you don't want to hang out with them, explain to them that you don't have any common grounds to base friendship on. Just be cool about it and try not to upset anyone. Compromise. |

| Just let them know that they have interests or whatnot that you don't, just tell them that you don't feel like you belong around them. tell them they have wierd habits or whatever the case is, and that you don't like it. tell them that is the sole basis of why you can't hang out with them. this may hurt their fellings slightly, but the truth hurts, and its better than lying to them. |

Why do people assume that people waste time on being jealous of 'preps?' I do say that it was shallow on the grounds of dumping them because they're 'weird,' but I have no idea what weird amounts to as weird could count as anything from being stupid, doing drugs, or smelling. I suppose you could be justified if weird was something along the lines of illegal activities. If it was for shallow reasons such as how they dress or something, then I guess it was better that you dumped them because who really wants to remain friends with someone who thinks that they are weird?
As for them saying stuff behind your back, laugh it off. You're not the one who stooped so low as to get back at you in such a way.

They're not jealous.. they feel betrayed and want to kill you because if you were their friends and decided later they were weird, thay are angry and they feel like you lied to them.. and were only friends with them because you didn't have anyone else, and then you dropped them as soon as you found "better" friends..
the same thing happened to me when i got to highschool.. im different, im a down right fucking freak to most people.. im obnoxious with mood swings, severe depression, and intense violent frustration, constant paranoia, relative insanity, and disgusting addictions, i think very highly of myself, because there is no one id rather be, im completely comfortable with myslef, and my flaws that make people hate me, but i personally think your pretty ignorant because when someone is made at you, you automatically think that they're jealous.. and your completely ignoring the fact.. that you just up and decided to drop them as friends..
Im sorry for being rude, but thats who i am
its a very touchy subject for me..
because i had it happen to me..

1. I never said they were jealous, and I really don't consider myself as a "prep", I just hang w/ preps
2. They are weird cause.......-no offense to any1 who does- but they dress wierd, do wierd things (like witchcraft...REALLY freaky), listen to weird music, and they are just plain out weird.

Well, im not saying its wrong for you to not like them.. but if you doidn't like them, i don't think you should have been friends with them in the first place, because as much as you don't like them. its not fair to them really.
Im perfectly fine with what happened to me, before you can live with having friends.. i feel you must also be able to live without having friends. almost an entire year of talking to nobody has made me stronger as a person.
You actually did say, they are jealous, and i never said you were a prep.
BUt can i honestly ask you, whats wrong with people who dress weird, i do, and i am friends with preps. I wear pants with chains, i have my lip pierced, and i wear too much make-up. I also do witchcraft, im a religous wiccan [[aka a real witch]] so id prefer if ou wouldn't call my religion freaky. Why is it so wrong to believe in Magik, you believe in jesus [[im guessing]] and he rose from the dead.. [[seems pretty magik to me]] If that can happen, why can't magik?
If being like i am is wrong to you, then ill die before ill ever be right in your eyes.
All im going to say is, try to be accepting of other people for what they do. you don't like your old friends?? then fine don't like them, do what makes you happy. Just don't waste your time, don't say anything about them, Leave them alone. and just be happy |

I just looked through the thing and i guess i did say they were jealous. I am not religous at all. If it were standing in a desert or church. I would pick the desert. I find church boring and a waist of my time (no offense to u ppl who like church). I want to get through school without being the "weird one" so I am gonna do the way ppl do it. Hang with ur group....don't hang w/ the weird kids and yes talk about people. its the only way to get through mid-school and highschool in the top group of the "food chain". srry it is just the way i am. |
