I actually have no idea why I'm picked on sometimes, but it could have to do with the fact I'm very reserved and for some reason people fear me. In that way if they even talk crap about me and I look their way/glare at them or even say a tiny comment there eyes widen in fear and they pretend they weren't doing anything. I once made a girl that was picking on me start shaking and crying.

So in other words, I got picked on for my reserved nature, now they're afraid of how I look when I'm pissed and still don't talk to me. Fair trade I'd say...that's what they get for screwing with me.

I get picked on all the time. There's a guy that was so horrible that I had to go to the police about it. I was also picked on in 2nd grade. There was a guy that rode my bus and he used to slam my head into the window.

Nobody at all? Wow, sounds like heaven to me. Over here...well, nobody is really all that nice. The ones that are nice on the inside pretend to be mean just to survive here...and the ones that are truely nice get terrorized.

Where is the love?

I highly doubt there is a school where no one gets picked on. Maybe the poster just isn't aware of it. Luckily for me, I seemed to have escaped the eye of my more blood thrsty classmates and do not get picked on. I know a lot of people who do get picked on though and it really bugs me because usually they're very nice people.

I get picked on too. You learn to get over it though. Most of the people who pick on me dont have room to talk.

I used to get picked on by this one guy and his friend in my year, but he's pretty much gotten bored so nobody bothers me directly. The teasing that used to be directed at me I could never understand why they thought I was more vulnerable than the next girl in the lunch line, but I think in a way they were just afraid of someone who was in a different circle of friends. They feared, so they put down what they didn't understand. They talked about me so I could hear them just to get a rise, and I felt like they thought themselves superior or that they thought they knew something I didn't about life. They treated me as if I couldn't possibly be intelligent enough to know what was happening to me. Now though, I'm not picked on at all. I just remember that feeling still. The effects of teasing can last. But then once you realize they're just confused and pathetic and ignorant, you can get over it if you try a little.

What, like you had expected human nature to be inherently good? People are assholes, and we like being assholes.

I hate bullying. It doesn't really happen in my 6th form though, which is a good thing. I see it in the lower years sometimes. I guess thats just how it goes - all part of the learning curve?

When i was in 8th grade and in my freshman year these two girls who i used to be best friends with deserted me and used to write dirty notes and leave them in people's lockers or put them up on walls. i stopped talking to them completely and i had the principals on their backs Smile telling on them works like a jewel. well in 9th grade the principals actually came to me first.
