For many peeps, online is an easier way to communicate with others and make friends. Even I, who IRL is very reserved for the most part, make a great deal of friends online (imo). Though my withdrawn/reserved habits still apply online, as some may have noticed I don't take the initiative and IM people, if they're interested in getting to know me they can contact me themselves.

I was just wondering, how many friends the majority of members on Teenwrd actually have IRL.

So...answer the poll and comment!

Now, myself...I DO have friends, but only a very small group. The only reason I know as many people as I do is because my friends are VERY sociable, but despite trying to introduce me I'm still withdrawn. I have about 2-3 close friends out of a total of about 5 (the rest are just casual). Then again, I'm very strict on who I consider a 'friend'. They would have to be someone I feel comfortable with, contact outside of school, and someone who I open up to and trust. There aren't many...

Acutally, it's pretty normal. It's better to have a few friends that you know are your friends instead of being worried about getting backstabbed. I limit my problem by not 'mixing' my groups of friends so it's not like I'm part of any big group of people. I've got work friends, friends from my 2nd job, volunteer friends, random people I met, school friends, and other groups.
